The Indian Cricket Team lost against New Zealand yesterday and exited the 2019 World cup race. Despite all the hard work, the team seemed to have had a bad day and Team India ended up being out of the ICC World Cup. While at first people were heartbroken and sad, the result finally sinked in and the team’s sportsman spirit was applauded by everyone. A few hours after the unfortunate event, captain of the Indian Team Virat Kohli took to Instagram and penned down an emotional message to thank the fans of the team.
While the result was not in our favor, the people of India showed overwhelming support and stood by the team. Despite the defeat, there was still immense respect for the Indian team and their fighting spirit, and even a lot of celebrities took to social media to support them. Virat Kohli took to Instagram to share a picture of the team and wrote a heartfelt note for the fans. His note read, “Firstly I want to thank all our fans who came in huge numbers to support the team. You made it a memorable tournament for all of us and we felt the love showered upon the team for which we are very grateful. We are all disappointed and share the same emotions as you.
